Hoodie + Shorts: Hot or Cool?

I often see guys wearing a hoodie with shorts and it makes me want to ask them the question,
"Do you think you're hot or cool?"

    Hot air rises. And besides, I always feel so much more comfortable wearing pants and a t-shirt. I hold more heat in my torso, so I don't want to trap it there.

    I dunno... shorts that short should only be worn by the females... something screams 'butt-pirate' when I see a dude rockin the daisy dukes...

    I mean, if you got it, flaunt it, but that's a bit too far...

    If i wore that it would be 'cause i was cold. My legs are pretty viking so i only need to cover my top. However i would never don a preposterous combination like that, i can't imagine where i'd find it useful or fashionable :-/?

    I hate that! I think it's so stupid. I always wear a t-shirt with jeans. Kind of the opposite, but not nearly as dumb looking.

    I wear a hoodie with shorts sometimes.
    I like to keep fairly warm, but I'm almost always wearing shorts.
    It's not like people catch any flak for wearing a t-shirt with long pants.
